O objetivo deste texto é expressar a importância da Filosofia da Educação, enquanto ramo da Filosofia, e constituída como disciplina autônoma, na prática do educador. No cotidiano da sala de aula, com os muitos desafios encontrados pelos professores, ter como base uma disciplina teórico-prática que discuta a realidade docente, os problemas próprios da educação em geral e questões mais específicas, é fundamental para que o docente carregue em sua bagagem elementos que tornarão possível o seu trabalho.
The objective of this text is to express the importance of Philosophy of Education, as a branch of Philosophy and constituted as an autonomous discipline, in the educator's practice. In the daily classroom, with the many challenges faced by teachers, having as a basis a theoretical-practical discipline, which discusses the teaching reality, the problems inherent to education in general and more specific issues, is fundamental for the teacher to carry out your luggage with elements that will make your daily life easier.
