O objetivo é identificar, por meio da literatura cientifica, as dificuldades encontradas no aleitamento materno de bebês prematuros. Trata-se de uma revisão bibliográfica, para o seu desenvolvimento foram selecionados 20 artigos da Lilacs e Scielo entre os anos de 2015 a 2019. Os autores pesquisados e utilizados foram: Balaminut et al. (2018); Castelli e Almeida (2015); Ciaciare et al. (2015); Cruz e Sebastião (2015); Filho; Pereira e Castro (2016); Gomes (2015); Lopes et al. (2015); Méio et al. (2018); Nunes et al.(2017); Pereira; Abrão; Ohara; Ribeiro (2015); Soares; Novaes; Araújo e Vieira (2015) e Walty e Duarte (2017). Devido a sua imaturidade, a criança prematura possui características que dificultam a amamentação pela via oral logo após o nascimento. Por meio deste estudo, foi possível perceber que as mães necessitam de apoio, principalmente, as mães de bebês prematuros. Tais atitudes não podem ficar apenas no âmbito hospitalar, mas também devem ser continuadas na residência dessas mães. Pelo fato de possuir vários periódicos na literatura relacionados ao tema dificuldades na amamentação em bebês prematuros, foi possível realizar está pesquisa com mais aprofundamento.
The objective is to identify, through scientific literature, the difficulties encountered in breastfeeding premature babies. This is a bibliographic review, for its development, 20 articles from Lilacs and Scielo were selected between the years 2015 to 2019. The authors researched and used were: Balaminut et al. (2018); Castelli and Almeida (2015); Ciaciare et al. (2015); Cruz and Sebastião (2015); Filho; Pereira and Castro (2016); Gomes (2015); Lopes et al. (2015); Méio et al. (2018); Nunes et al. (2017); Pereira; Abrão; Ohara; Ribeiro (2015); Soares; Novaes; Araújo and Vieira (2015) and Walty and Duarte (2017). Due to their immaturity, premature babies have characteristics that make breastfeeding difficult orally immediately after birth. Through this study, it was possible to see that mothers need support, especially mothers of premature babies. Such attitudes cannot be limited to the hospital setting, but must also be continued in the homes of these mothers. Because there are several journals in the literature related to the topic of difficulties in breastfeeding premature babies, it was possible to conduct this research in greater depth.
