OBJETIVO. Descrever a experiência dos cuidados de pacientes com sequelas de COVID-19, em internação hospitalar. METODOLOGIA. Relato de experiência de prática curricular realizada no hospital terciário. Este relato foi baseado nas informações adquiridas através de uma entrevista com o paciente, os dados foram fundamentados em referências de cuidados de enfermagem. RESULTADOS. Os resultados foram obtidos através do contato com o paciente, com a finalidade do cuidado humanizado. Paciente de 54 anos, do sexo masculino, com histórico de positivo para COVID-19 e ainda apresentando falta de ar. O paciente durante o período de internação além de sequelas físicas também destacou as sequelas emocionais devido ao isolamento social de 14 dias, com risco de sentimento de solidão.
OBJECTIVE. To describe the experience of caring for patients with sequelae of COVID-19, during hospitalization. METHODOLOGY. Report of experience of curricular practice carried out in a tertiary hospital. This report was based on information acquired through an interview with the patient, the data were based on references of nursing care. RESULTS. The results were obtained through contact with the patient, with the purpose of humanized care. A 54-year-old male patient, with a history of positive for COVID-19 and still presenting shortness of breath. During the hospitalization period, in addition to physical sequelae, the patient also highlighted the emotional sequelae due to the 14-day social isolation, with a risk of feeling loneliness.
