O modelo denominacional de igrejas desenvolvido no protestantismo a partir do século XVII assumiu proporções desmesuradas nos séculos XX e XXI nas Américas, particularmente no Brasil. Este artigo pretende provocar uma reflexão sobre essa realidade à luz da teologia dos principais reformadores do século XVI, e das Confissões de Fé protestantes.
The denominational model of churches developed in Protestantism from the 17th century onwards assumed disproportionate proportions in the 20th and 21st centuries in the Americas, particularly in Brazil. This article aims to provoke reflection on this reality in light of the theology of the main reformers of the 16th century and the Protestant Confessions of Faith.
