O debate sobre a prática profissional dos assistentes sociais tem contribuído, de forma extensiva e profunda, ao desenvolvimento e consolidação da profissão do Serviço Social. Diante disso, este artigo se insere nesse debate, pois objetiva tratar das experiências cotidianas nos espaços sócio-ocupacionais vinculados às instituições de Acolhimento para Crianças e Adolescentes da cidade de Curitiba e da sua região metropolitana. A questão central que motivou a pesquisa pauta-se na preocupação em analisar como ocorre a utilização das normativas e legislações que fundamentam a prática profissional dos assistentes sociais nestes ambientes institucionais. Amparados pela experiência da Comissão de Orientação e Fiscalização-COFI do CRESS-PR, os resultados alcançados expressam que devem ser pauta permanente de estudo e debate no cotidiano dos profissionais, durante o processo da prática profissional efetivada pelos assistentes sociais que envolvem as condições de trabalho, os seguintes fatores: as relações profissionais estabelecidas com os usuários, a capacitação permanente para a utilização das legislações que subsidiam o pensar e o fazer profissional e a garantia do sigilo profissional.
The debate on the professional practice of social workers has contributed extensively and profoundly to the development and consolidation of the Social Work profession. Therefore, this article is part of this debate, as it aims to address the daily experiences in the socio-occupational spaces linked to Child and Adolescent Shelters in the city of Curitiba and its metropolitan region. The central question that motivated the research is the concern with analyzing how the regulations and legislation that underpin the professional practice of social workers in these institutional settings are used. Supported by the experience of the Guidance and Oversight Committee (COFI) of CRESS-PR, the results achieved demonstrate that the following factors should be a permanent topic of study and debate in the daily lives of professionals during the process of professional practice carried out by social workers, involving working conditions: professional relationships established with clients, ongoing training in the use of legislation that supports professional thinking and practice, and the guarantee of professional confidentiality.
