O presente artigo tem como objetivo analisar a relação de cidadania e trabalho doméstico a partir da teoria da reprodução social. Para elaboração deste artigo foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica e documental com dados secundários. Para tanto foram analisados os dados do trabalho doméstico e de cuidado no cenário brasileiro, e como a teoria da reprodução social traz fundamentos no que se refere a cidadania. Desta forma, pode se compreender como os trabalhos invisíveis trazem uma sobrecarga as mulheres e como isso pode influenciar diretamente a efetivação de uma plena cidadania para elas. Ademais entende-se como a teoria da reprodução social pode ser um elemento teórico para compreensão e transformação da realidade social.
This article aims to analyze the relationship between citizenship and domestic work based on the theory of social reproduction. To prepare this article, a bibliographic and documentary research was conducted using secondary data. To this end, data on domestic work and care in the Brazilian context were analyzed, as well as how the theory of social reproduction provides a foundation for citizenship. In this way, it is possible to understand how invisible work overburdens women and how this can directly influence the realization of full citizenship for them. Furthermore, it is understood how social reproduction theory can be a theoretical element for understanding and transforming social reality.
