Entre os programas televisuais do Japão, há um ficcional de duas horas de duração, que tem a morte como elemento gerador das histórias e considerado uma das marcas das produções televisuais daquele país. Este trabalho destaca alguns aspectos que se repetem em todos os programas desse gênero, como o esquema básico, o uso dos planos e o tratamento dado à morte, apontando as suas características e diferenciais em relação a outros ficcionais.
Among the televisual programs in Japan, there is a two-hour fiction program, which has death as a generating element of the story. It is considered one of the hallmarks of televisual productions of that country. This paper highlights some aspects that are repeated in all programs of this genre, as the basic scheme, the use of shots and treatment of death, pointing out its characteristics and differences in relation to other TV fiction programs.
