A história oral como prática no ensino de história

A partir da década de 80 importantes transformações se apresentaram no ensino
brasileiro de História, passando a se incorporar gradualmente as fontes orais como
“ferramenta” possível de ser utilizada. É pensando nisso, que pretendemos no projeto “A
História Oral como Prática no Ensino de História” possibilitar ao aluno, se entender enquanto
sujeito ativo e construtor do processo histórico. Para tanto, o trabalho conta com a
participação dos discentes pertencentes à sétima série do Ensino Fundamental do Centro de
Atenção Integral a Criança (CAIC) - escola municipal inserida dentro do complexo da
Universidade Federal do Rio Grande. Esses atuarão no projeto como “alunos-historiadores”,
estabelecendo através da oralidade a significação que a Universidade possui para eles e para a
comunidade circunvizinha a instituição.

Resumo Inglês:

As from the 1980s important transformations happened in the teaching of Brazilian
History, gradually incorporating the oral resources as possible “tools” to be used. With this in
mind we intend, with the Project “The Oral History as Practice in History Teaching”, enable
the student to understand himself/herself as an active person and historical process builder.
Therefore, the work is done with the involvement of students of the seventh grade of Elementary School of the Center of Integral Attention to Children (CAIAC) – a municipal
school within the complex of the Federal University of the city of Rio Grande. These students
are going to work in the Project as “historian-students”, explaining through orality the
meaning that the university has for them and for the surrounding community of the institution.
