O tomismo analÃtico é uma expressão do movimento tomista, que nos últimos
anos tem procurado interpretar a obra de Tomás de Aquino a partir da
metodologia desenvolvida pela filosofia analÃtica. Essa corrente filosófica
propõe introduzir as ideias tomistas dentro da filosofa analÃtica, sem, no
entanto, abandonar nenhum dos elementos centrais do tomismo. O presente
estudo tem por objetivo apresentar, de forma introdutória, a origem, o
conceito, os principais estudiosos e o que o tomismo analÃtico se propõe a
analisar.
The analytical Thomism is an expresion of the Thomistic movement that have
been searching, in the last years, to interpret Thomas Aquinas’ work
considering the methodology develloped by analytic philosophy. This
philosophical tendency intends to introduce the thomistic ideas in the analytic
philosophy without leaving none of the central elements of Thomism. This
paper aims to present, in a introductory way, the origin, the concept, the main
scholars and what the analytical thomism searchs to analyse.
