Pensar a prostituição como parte integrante dos estudos de gênero é procurar dar ênfase ao cotidiano social marginalizado das mulheres, tidas como excluÃdas da história, conforme afirma Perrot (1988). Compreender as relações de poder que contribuÃram para fomentar a prática sexual como meio de vida, geralmente, de mulheres pobres e desprovidas de oportunidades para educação formal são alguns dos elementos predominantes na trajetória das mulheres depoentes deste estudo. No micro-cosmo da cidade de ItaberaÃ-GO, localizamos as análises e os sujeitos que percorrem as singularidades e as generalidades pertencentes a este mundo social envolto em brumas e repleto de sensibilidades imortalizadas na memória destas protagonistas
Think prostitution as part of gender studies is to seek to give emphasis to everyday social marginalized women, taken as excluded from history, as says Perrot (1988). Understand the power relations that contributed to promote sexual practice as a way of life, generally, of poor women and formal education opportunities are some of the predominant elements in the path of women depoentes of this study. In micro-cosmo city of ItaberaÃ-GO, we find the analyses and subject that roam the singularities and generalities belonging to this social world shrouded in mists and filled with sensitivities glorified in memory of these protagonists.
