O estudo foi realizado no Hospital Universitário de São LuÃs/MA com o objetivo de identificar os diagnósticos de enfermagem, sua frequência e significância estatÃstica em 23 pacientes no perÃodo perioperatório de cirurgia cardÃaca valvar. O instrumento de coleta de dados foi baseado em modelo
construÃdo e validado por Galdeano, Rossi (2000), fundamentado no modelo conceitual de Wanda Horta. Utilizou-se o teste estatÃstico de McNemar e o binomial. Identificou-se 34 categorias diagnósticas e 633 diagnósticos de enfermagem. Houve predominância nas necessidades psicobiológicas. O estudo contribuiu para a implantação da Sistematização da Assistência de Enfermagem do Hospital Universitário.
The study was conducted at São LuÃs University Hospital, in Maranhão, with the purpose of identifying the nursing diagnoses, their frequency, and the statistical significance in 23 patients, during
the perioperative period of the cardiac valve surgery. The data collection instrument was based on a model built and authenticated by Galdeano, Rossi (2000), with regards to the definition model of Wanda Horta. The statistical McNemar test and the binomial one were used. Thirty-four diagnostic categories and 633 nursing diagnoses were identified. There was dominance in the psychobiologic needs. The study contributed to the deployment of the University Hospital Nursing Aid Systematization.
