In this juridicalscientific study, the author discusses carefully the legal issue related to the legal regime of the electric industry in Brazil, with special emphasis on the contribution of the legal constitutional issue, which includes electricity, applicable principles to the species, demand for electricity, industry and social importance among others. In conclusively reference, crop, then, the main points not legal, relegating the typically legal analysis for another opportunity.
