Este artigo pretende discorrer sobre o percurso dos mitos arturianos ao longo da Idade Médica Central (séculos XI a XIII) alemã, a partir da triagem dos principais escritos arturianos germânicos. Relativamente incógnitos no Brasil, tais códices revelam muito das sociedades de expressão alemã no Medievo, a partir das formas concretas assumidas pelas narrativas arturianas no Sacro Império Romano-Germânico.
This paper aims at discussing the
path of Arthurian myths during German
Central Middle Ages (11th to 13th centuries),
through the tracking down of the main
Germanic Arthurian writings. Relatively
unknown to the Brazilian public, such codices
reveal much of the German-speaking societies
during the medieval period, by means
of the concrete adaptation of this narrative
matter in The Holy Roman Empire.
