Este artigo busca esclarecer
e discutir alguns aspectos relacionados
à Micro-História, considerada
aqui mais como uma especialidade e
abordagem do que como uma corrente
da historiografia recente. São
discutidos aspectos diversos, incluindo
as abordagens de que dispõem os
micro-historiadores para o tratamento
de suas fontes históricas e as novas
maneiras de apresentar o texto historiográfico
que foram introduzidas
na historiografia recente pela Micro-
História. Busca-se definir com maior
precisão este campo da historiografia,
contrastando-o com a Macro-História
tradicional e distinguindo-o de outras
especialidades em que hoje se divide a
Historiografia profissional.
This article attempts to
clarify and discuss some aspects
related to Micro-History, which are
considered here to be more of an
specialty and an approach than as
a current of recent historiography.
The aspects to be discussed are diverse,
and include the approaches
at the disposal of micro-historians
in the treatment of their historical
sources and the new ways of presenting
the historiographical text
that have recently been introduced
by Micro-History. This article also
attempts to define with greater precision
this field of historiography
by contrasting it with traditional
Macro-History and by distinguish
it from the other specialties which
nowadays divide professional Historiography.
