É possÃvel reavaliar, para além do ponto de vista moral, o estatuto da hipocrisia na formação ou criação de si? O presente texto trata da questão do sentido e do valor da hipocrisia a partir do pensamento de Nietzsche, ou seja, de que forma seria possÃvel pensar uma re-significação do conceito de hipocrisia à luz das crÃticas nietzscheanas à noção de verdade. Com base nessa distinção, pretende-se discutir as idéias de máscara e aparência no pensamento nietzscheano, defendendo a hipótese de que, para além da valoração negativa imposta pela moral cristã, é possÃvel compreender a hipocrisia como jogo e manuseio de máscaras que, em última instância, conduzem ao princÃpio ético-estético nietzscheano de criação de si como segunda natureza.
Is it possible to re-evaluate, beyond the moral point of view, the condition of hypocrisy in if self-formation or self-creation? This article deals with the matter of the sense and value of hypocrisy from Nietzsche’s thought, which means, in what way it is possible to thinks about a re-signification of the concept of hypocrisy considering nietzschean critique to the notion of truth. Based on this distinction, we intend to discuss the ideas of masks and appearances in nietzschean thinking. Our hypothesis is that, beyond the negative evaluation imposed by Christian moral, it’s possible to comprehend hypocrisy as game and handling of masks which at last lead to the ethic-esthetic nietzschean principle of self-creation as second nature.
