Este artigo se propõe discutir o fenômeno da circulação das fotografias pessoais em plataformas virtuais e o surgimento de uma possÃvel nova estética do cotidiano e do efêmero. Assim, iniciamos com um quadro conceitual sobre as possibilidades da fotografia digital referentes à s imagens do cotidiano e apresentamos uma análise sobre as particularidades estéticas do autorretrato contemporâneo, um processo de criação que envolve conceitos como fabulação, performance e o efêmero, em um espaço de interação com as ferramentas de comunicação na comunidade do Flickr.
Images of a subject in the becoming: self-portrait in the network. This article aims at discussing the phenomenon of personal photographs circulation in virtual platforms and the emergence of a new quotidian and the ephemeral’s aesthetics. Thus we begin with a conceptual framework about the possibilities of the digital photography related to the everyday images and here present an analysis on the aesthetic particularities of the contemporary self-portrait - a creation process that involves concepts such as fantasy, performance and the ephemeral, in an interaction space with the communication tools in Flickr community.
