Este artigo analisa as ações doutrinárias da Igreja
Evangélica Assembleia de Deus – Ministério Missão de
Belém – na década de 1990, momento de desenvolvimento
do projeto de crescimento das Assembleias de Deus, denominado
“Década da Colheitaâ€. Para tanto, buscou-se situar
esta instituição no campo religioso brasileiro e apreender
como ela montou suas táticas em resposta às pressões sociais
sofridas na década de 1990. Por fi m, foram analisadas
as representações da liderança assembleiana sobre os “usos
e costumes†praticados na instituição no momento de desenvolvimento
do projeto “Década da Colheitaâ€.
This article analyzes the doctrinal actions of
the Pentecostal church Assembly of God – Mission of
Belém Ministry – in the 1990s, when the growth project
of the Assemblies of God know as Decade of Harvest was
developed. To this end, we sought to place this institution in
the Brazilian religious fi eld and understand how it developed
its tactics in response to the social pressures experienced in
the 1990s. Finally, we analyzed the representations of the
Assemblies’ leaderships regarding the “uses and habits†of the institution during the development period of the “Decade
of Harvest†project.
