consolidou sua identidade urbana
baseada na etnicidade no perÃodo das
comemorações de seu Centenário.
Esta transformação identitária
possibilitou a inserção de diversos
grupos étnicos na identidade da urbe.
Entre eles podemos destacar o grupo
étnico árabe que afirmou sua
presença na cidade através de uma
festividade e da demarcação de um
território árabe muçulmano cuja
mesquita é o principal elemento.
The city of Criciúma/SC
consolidated its urban identity based
on ethnicity during the celebrations
of its Centenary. This identity
transformation allowed the insertion
of various ethnic groups into the
identity of the city. Among them we
can highlight the Arab ethnic group
who granted their presence in the
city through a festivity and the
demarcation of an Arab Muslim
territory whose mosque is the main
element.
