Ao verificarmos a noção que a favelada Carolina Maria de Jesus tem de poeta, por meio de seus diários e poemas, mostraremos uma criação poética que tenta ser romântica textualizando, simultaneamente, uma
cultura dos excluÃdos do mundo econômico. Por isso, para a análise da criação poética de Carolina não nos esqueceremos de que se trata de poemas escritos por uma mulher pobre, semianalfabeta. Para tanto, seguiremos as pisadas de Lajolo (1996).
When verifying the notion that the inhabitant of the slum quarter Carolina Maria de Jesus has of poet, by means of her daily and poems; we will show one poetical creation that tries to be romantic including a culture of the excluded ones from the economic world. Therefore, for the analysis of the poetical creation of Carolina we will not forget in them that one is about poems written for a semiliterate poor woman. For in such a way, we will follow the theories of Lajolo (1996).
