Este trabalho foi realizado através de pesquisa e teve como objetivo verificar a importância da música na aprendizagem de crianças de 1 a 2 anos de idade e evidenciar a contribuição de atividades com música no processo de aquisição da linguagem e no processo de socialização dessas crianças com a professora e os colegas em sala de aula. Os sujeitos da pesquisa foram crianças de uma turma de maternal de uma creche no municÃpio de Sinop-MT, suas professoras e a coordenadora da referida creche. Para desenvolver o trabalho, foi elaborado e utilizado um roteiro de observação, onde foram feitas as anotações julgadas pertinentes, e um guia para uma entrevista em forma de questionário com as professoras e coordenadora. Foi possÃvel observar o comportamento das crianças bem como o interesse delas pelas atividades que envolviam a utilização de músicas. Após as observações realizadas e análises das informações levantadas, pode-se evidenciar aqui a importância da musica como instrumento facilitador da aprendizagem nas crianças. As professoras entrevistadas afirmam que o aprendizado e a socialização da criança com o meio fica mais fácil de ser desenvolvida quando elas utilizam a musica nas atividades. Ressaltamos aqui a importância da abordagem dessas informações nos cursos de Licenciatura, pois esses futuros profissionais é que deverão estimular a criança pra uma aprendizagem participativa em sala e, ainda, ser o agente facilitador da aprendizagem que se espera dessas crianças.
This work has been carried out through a research and had as its goal to verify the importance of music on 1 to 2 years old children’s learning as well as highlight the contribution of activities involving music in speech acquisition process and in the socialization process of those children with the teacher and classmates in the classroom. The subjects of the research have been the children of a first grade kindergarten group in a day care center in Sinop-MT, its teachers and the coordinator of the referred day care center. In order to develop the work we have worked out and used on observation itinerary where commentaries considered appropriate and a questionnaire have been written down with the help of the teachers and the coordinator. We could observe the children’s behavior as well as their interest for the activities that involved music. After accomplishing the observations and the analysis of the gathered information we could evidence the importance of music as a facilitative tool in children’s learning. The interviewed teachers state that he learning and the socialization of the children with the environment becomes easier when they use music in their activities we then highlight the importance of these information in the courses, because the children towards a participative learning in class and also be the facilitative agent of the learning we expect from these children.
