O presente texto pretende contextualizar a importância de Ronald Dworkin para as áreas da Teoria e da Filosofia do Direito e destacar alguns pontos principais de sua vasta obra. Busca-se realizar um tributo póstumo a este pensador que exerceu e continuará exercendo significativa influência nesse campo do conhecimento.
This text aims at putting into context the importance of Ronald Dworkin’s contribution to the Legal Theory and Philosophy fields and at highlighting some main themes of his large work. We look to pay a posthumous tribute to this thinker who has significantly influenced these knowledge fields and who will keep on doing so.
