Resumo Português:
O artigo discorre sobre a violência simbólica e exclusão social que são problemas
atuais na educação para compreender como se dá sua existência e as suas relações no
ambiente escolar. Foi realizada a pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa e entrevistas
semiestruturadas com os alunos e professores do 4º ano do Ensino Fundamental da Escola
Municipal Aleixo Schenatto no MunicÃpio de Sinop, Mato Grosso. As respostas foram
analisadas com base nas leituras de Pierre Bourdieu foi possÃvel problematizar que a violência
simbólica perpassa dentro da escola contribuindo para a legitimação das desigualdades
sociais.

The article discusses the symbolic violence and social exclusion that are current issues
in education, tounder stand how their existence and their relationships in the school
environment. The research of qualitative approach and semi-structured interviews with
students and teachers of the fourth grade of elementary school of the Municipal school
Alexios Schenatto in the municipality of Sinop, Mato Grosso. The answers were analysed
based on the readings of Pierre Bourdieu, it was possible to problematise the symbolic
violence pervades within the school contributing to legitimation of social inequalities.
