The aim of this paper is to present and discuss the process of information analysis supported by the Qualitative
Epistemology, by Luis Fernando Gonzalez Rey, a relevant methodology for the study of subjectivity. Such
epistemological and methodological approach, of increasing interest among Latin American researchers, has
a peculiar applicability to Psychology Studies. Its essential aspects include: the researcher’s involvement; the
communication processes; the singular recognition as legitimate; the constructive and interpretative process
of data analysis; and the theoretical production process spirit. From this perspective, the process of analysis
and construction of information requires the production of open systems of indicators that allow the researcher
to develop hypotheses about the object of study, which will conform and reconfigure to the theoretical
model in the drafting process.
El objetivo de este artÃculo es presentar y discutir el proceso de análisis de la información apoyada en la EpistemologÃa Cualitativa de Fernando Luis González Rey. Tal perspectiva epistemológica y metodológica de creciente interés cientÃfico en América Latina tiene una aplicabilidad particular a los estudios en PsicologÃa. Sus aspectos esenciales son los procesos de comunicación, el reconocimiento de lo singular como legitimo, el análisis de la información con base a un proceso constructivo-interpretativo y el carácter procesual de producción teórica. El proceso de análisis y construcción de la información desde esa perspectiva requiere la producción de sistemas abiertos de indicadores que permiten al investigador desarrollar hipótesis sobre el objeto de estudio que configuran y reconfiguran el modelo teórico en elaboración.
