Esse breve artigo indaga a respeito da amizade partindo do pressuposto do instinto de socialização, visto sob o ângulo filosófico e antropológico. Em seguida, aborda-se o fenômeno da solidão e sua ocorrência na atualidade, em antinomia com a amizade. Por fim, com um olhar mais teológico, o trabalho passa a se concentrar na distinção entre amizade real e amizade virtual; entre amizade virtuosa e viciosa e quantos amigos deveríamos possuir, em particular no contexto de multiplicação de interações entre os indivíduos por intermédio da rede mundial de computadores, ou seja, a internet.
Resumo Inglês:
This brief article examines friendship starting from the assumption of the instinct of socialization, considered from the philosophical and anthropological angle. This is followed by a discussion of the phenomenon of loneliness and its present-day occurrence, in antinomy with friendship. Finally, from a more theological perspective, the paper focuses on the distinction between real and virtual friendship; between virtuous and sinful friendship and on how many friends we should have, particularly in the context of the multiplication of interactions among individuals through the worldwide web, that is, the internet.
