Este texto destina-se a comunicar os primeiros resultados de uma pesquisa em desenvolvimento no âmbito do Programa de Pós-Graduação de Gestão de Tecnologias Aplicadas (GESTEC/Uneb). O objetivo da pesquisa é analisar o perfil dos estudantes de graduação da Universidade do Estado da Bahia (Uneb), tendo como recorte espacial as Redes de Gestão Departamental, e subsidiar a gestão da política de Assistência e Permanência Estudantil e do Observatório Estudantil na referida instituição. Para isso, tomou-se uma base de dados tendo como referência os microdados do Censo da Educação Superior para os anos de 2014 e 2015. Mesmo considerando o caráter de incompletude da pesquisa, com as informações obtidas até agora é possível afirmar que as políticas de Assistência e Permanência Estudantil atendem um pequeno percentual de estudantes da Uneb. Essa constatação aponta para a necessidade de ampliar o alcance dessas políticas, sobretudo, aquelas dirigidas ao público feminino.
This text intends to present the first results of an under development research within the scope of the Postgraduate Program in Applied Technologies Management (GESTEC/Uneb). The objective is to analyze the profile of undergraduate students of the State University of Bahia (Uneb), using as research space the Departmental Management Networks, aiming to subsidize the management of the Student Assistance and Permanence policy and the Student Observatory in that institution. Therefore, was taken a database based on the microdata of the Higher Education Census for the years 2014 and 2015. Although of the incompleteness of the research, with the information obtained so far, it was possible to affirm that the policies of Student Attendance and Permanence attend a small percentage of students of this University. This finding indicates the need to broaden the reach of these policies, especially those aimed at the female public.
