Aplicação do Software graphmatica no Ensino de Funções Polinomiais de 1º grau no 9º ano do Ensino Fundamental

Resumo Português:

O artigo apresenta pesquisa desenvolvida no âmbito da dissertação de Mestrado em Educação Matemática realizada na Universidade Severino Sombra (Vassouras/RJ). Observa-se ainda em algumas escolas o ensino de Matemática descontextualizado, pois os alunos, em sua maioria, não conseguem fazer uma relação entre os conteúdos estudados e sua aplicação no cotidiano e, dessa forma, fazem utilização de outros recursos como a memorização de fórmulas e conceitos que acabam se perdendo com o passar dos tempos. Um exemplo é o observado com o conteúdo de Funções polinomiais do 1º Grau, ministrado no 9º ano do Ensino Fundamental. Nesse trabalho, buscou-se um paralelo entre o ensino desse conteúdo na forma tradicional e o ensino com o auxílio do software GRAPHMATICA, comparando-se duas turmas da Escola Municipal Dante Jaime Brochado, em Juiz de Fora – MG. Grandes mudanças foram observadas na turma que utilizou o software educacional, tanto na compreensão do conteúdo, comprovado nas avaliações, como na satisfação e maior interesse dos alunos, observados nas respostas aos questionários aplicados durante o processo. A utilização do software GRAPHMATICA possibilita a construção de gráficos e a observação de relações entre pontos notáveis nos gráficos, cortes em eixos, simulações de aplicações no cotidiano entre outras funcionalidades. A pesquisa contribuiu para a conscientização do uso da tecnologia como ferramenta de aprendizagem, em especial, no ensino da Matemática.

The paper presents research carried in the extent of the elaboration of the dissertation of Master’s degree accomplished in the Severino Sombra University (Vassouras / Rio de Janeiro), in the masters degree program, Stricto Sensu, in mathematical education. Is still observed the education of Mathematics in some schools , therefore the students, in its majority, do not obtain to make a relation between the studied contents and its application in the daily e, of this form, makes use of other resources as the memorization of formulas and concepts that finish if losing with passing of the times. An example is observed with the content of polynomial Functions of first degree, given in 9º year of Basic learn. In this work, a parallel between the education of this content in the traditional form and education with the aid of software GRAPHMATICA searched, comparing itself two groups of the Municipal School Dante Jaime Brochado, in Juiz de Fora - MG. Great changes had been observed in the group who used educational software, as much in the understanding of the content, proven in the evaluations, as in the satisfaction and greater interest of the pupils, observed in the answers to the questionnaires applied during the process, therefore the use of software GRAPHMATICA makes possible the construction of graphs and the comment of relations between points notables in the graphs, cuts in axles, simulation of applications in daily among others the functionalities.
