O artigo se propõe a apresentar a experiência de construção da 6° Jornada da Moradia, intitulada “Mulheres em Luta pelo Direito à Moradia e à Cidade”, especialmente no que se refere às inovações por ela introduzidas, o que se analisa pelo ineditismo do trabalho em conjunto do Núcleo de Promoção e Defesa dos Direitos das Mulheres da De-fensoria Pública com os grupos historicamente empenhados na execução da Jornada da Moradia. A sexta edição do evento, concluída em 2018, foi pioneira ao voltar sua atenção para a articulação entre as categorias de gênero e de moradia, assumidas pela primeira vez como centrais e estruturantes no debate em torno do direito à moradia, pautando tanto suas dimensões jurídica e social como a relevância de as instituições incorporarem méto-dos e conceitos com um olhar mais integrado para o modo como estas questões repercutem nas políticas habitacionais e nos instrumentos de acesso à justiça. O estudo de caso usou como fonte de dados a revisão documental de atas, documentos produzidos ao longo do evento, sistematização de relatos e depoimentos na forma escrita e audiovisual. Buscou-se, assim, responder à pergunta: em que medida a inclusão do Núcleo Especializado de Pro-moção e Defesa dos Direitos das Mulheres contribuiu para o desenvolvimento de novos desafios teóricos e o aprendizado de novas práticas metodológicas?

The article proposes to present the construction experience of the 6th Hou-sing Journey, entitled: “Women in Struggle for the Right to Housing and the City”, espe-cially with regard to the innovations introduced by it, which is analyzed by the novelty of the joint work by the Center for the Promotion and Defense of Women’s Rights in the Public Defender’s Office with groups historically committed to implementing the Housing Journey. The event’s sixth edition, concluded in 2018, was a pioneer in turning its attention to the articulation between the categories of gender and housing, assumed for the first time as central and structuring in the debate around the right to housing, guiding both its legal and social dimensions as the relevance of institutions incorporating methods and concepts with a more integrated look at the way these issues impact on housing policies and instruments for access to justice. The case study used as a data source the document review of documents produced during the event, systematization of reports and testimo-nies in written and audiovisual form. Thus, we sought to answer the question: to what extent did the inclusion of the Center for the Promotion and Defense of Women’s Rights contribute to the development of new theoretical challenges and the learning of new me-thodological practices?
