A cadeia de custódia da prova tem sido objeto de diversas discussões importantes no país, apesar da até então carência de regulamentação na legislação processual penal. A partir da Lei 13.964/2019 (Pacote Anticrime), houve a introdução de diversos dispositivos que possibilitarão uma produção probatória de melhor qualidade. Pretende-se, portanto, examinar o novo tema desde a sua tramitação legislativa até as possíveis repercussões que poderão advir no cotidiano forense.
The chain of custody of the evidence has been the subject of several important discussions in the country, despite the, until then, lack of regulation in criminal procedural legislation. From Law 13.964/2019 (Anticrime Package), there was the introduction of many legal provisions that will enable a probatory production of better quality. Therefore, it is intended to examine the new theme from its legislative process to the possible repercussions that may arise in the forensic daily life.
