Mathematical education in indigenous school education is a theme with increasing interest, given that indigenous peoples seek their autonomy and understand that school education contributes to this pursuit. Thus, this article presents a selected part of the research carried out for the Doctoral Thesis in progress, which sought to understand how the participants see the teaching of Mathematics and to raise suggestions that can be inserted into the Mathematics curriculum in state indigenous school education, meeting the demands of students and community. The research was carried out with a qualitative perspective, taking into account the presuppositions of the ethnographic research and was carried out in the Serra da Moça indigenous land, in the state of Roraima, with a greater emphasis on the indigenous state school Adolfo Ramiro Levi and counted on the participation of 46 volunteers. The data was collected through semi-structured interviews and questionnaires. In addition, we acquired theoretical subsidies in Critical Mathematics Education to understand the Landscapes of Investigation as a proposal for the teaching and learning of Mathematics. The results show that this proposal meets the expectations of the indigenous students, since they make them active participants in the construction of their knowledge from real situations in their socio-cultural context.
