“A Constituição em uma sala de espelhos” é uma imagem que pretende nos ajudar a entender a possibilidade e as consequências das diversas leituras do texto constitucional. Centrando nosso interesse no estudo da atuação do Supremo Tribunal Federal, o texto reflete sobre forças e fraquezas do texto constitucional de 1988 e sobre o paradoxo da interpretação jurídica entre fidelidade e subjetivismo.
“The Constitution in a Hall of Mirrors” is an image intended to help us understand the possibility and consequences of the various readings of the constitutional text. Focusing our interest in the study of the Brazilian Federal Supreme Court, the text reflects on the strengths and weaknesses of the Federal Constitution (1988) and on the paradox of legal interpretation between fidelity and subjectivism.
