Este trabalho analisa, com base no referencial teórico-metodológico da
semiótica francesa, o texto “Conto (Não conto)”, de Sérgio Sant’Anna, o qual integra a
coletânea “Os cem melhores contos brasileiros do século”, organizada por Italo
Moriconi (2001). O conto apresenta um caráter metadiscursivo, pois, paralelamente à
construção da trama, o enunciador tece considerações a respeito da composição da
narrativa. Objetiva-se investigar as estratégias utilizadas pelo enunciador para
alcançar a adesão do enunciatário-leitor ao texto, focalizando as vias contratuais de
significação figurativa para a leitura do texto literário nele predominantes, conforme
Denis Bertrand em sua obra “Caminhos da semiótica literária” (2003)



Resumo Inglês:

This paper analysis, according to the French Semiotics theoreticalmethodological
reference, the short story “Conto (Não conto)”,by Sérgio Sant’Anna,
which is party of the collection “Os cem melhores contos brasileiros do século”
organized by Italo Moriconi (2001). The short story has a metadiscursive character
because, parallel to the construction of the story, the enunciator makes considerations
about the process of construction of the narrative. The aim is to investigate the
strategies used by the enunciator to achieve the adhesion of the enunciatee-reader to
the text, focusing the contract ways of the figurative signification to the reading of
literary text, according to Denis Bertrand in his work “Caminhos da Semiótica
Literária” (2003).
