Este artigo tem o objetivo de apresentar alguns aspectos da trajetória histórica dos primeiros cursos Superiores em Ciências da Educação na Província de Malanje, no ano de 2011 a 2016. O ano de 2011 significou para a Província de Malanje um marco no desenvolvimento da cultura acadêmica com a criação dos primeiros cursos superiores em ciências da educação. Trata-se de uma pesquisa histórica e documental em andamento cujo os resultados finais ainda estão por ser obtidos. Como resultados parciais obtidos mediante a análise de documentos normativos, portanto de caráter oficial, é possível afirmar que houve a necessidade por parte da coordenação dos primeiros cursos superiores de ciências da educação em criar estratégias para incentivar os diferentes professores naturais de Malanje e que se encontravam maioritariamente na Capital do país a regressarem e aceitar o desafio de contribuir para o desenvolvimento dos Primeiros cursos de ciências da educação.

This article aims to present some aspects of the first Education Science courses in the Malanje province from 2011 to 2016. The year of 2011 was a landmark in the development of academic culture in Malanje province due to the creation of the first courses in Education Science. On the other hand, year 2016 marked the meeting of the needs of University teacher staff in Malanje as a result of the first class’ graduation. This work is a historical research in its approach and a documental research in regard to its resources. The documental corpus was constituted of 87 resources, of which 26 were normative, such as: official decrees about the creation and development trajectory from bachelor courses in Education Science to the Escola Superior Politécnica de Malanje (ESPM). Other resources, like official newspaper articles, master degree thesis, and bibliography about aspects or processes of these courses were also used. Through the partial results obtained during the analysis of these normative documents it is possible to affirm that the coordinators of the first bachelor courses in Education Science had to create strategies and advertisements which circulated in these documents to motivate teachers to associate with the new Education school. Those teachers were native from Malanje or friends to the province who had mostly moved to the capital and were invited to return and accept the challenge of developing the first bachelor courses in Education Science in the province.
