Este artigo tem como objetivo analisar a relação entre o exercício do direito à moradia e a violência doméstica contra mulheres no município de Ananindeua (PA), visando assim compreender uma das dimensões da dinâmica da desigualdade de gênero. Visa-se responder a seguinte pergunta: em que medida as políticas públicas habitacionais podem interferir no enfrentamento à violência doméstica, em Ananindeua (PA)? Na metodologia segue-se o método indutivo como procedimento de análise. A pesquisa é bibliográfica e documental em relação à coleta de materiais teórico-conceituais, apresentando abordagem qualitativa, de caráter analítico-descritivo como estratégia. Quanto aos resultados, verificou-se que, entre os desafios enfrentados por mulheres que decidem romper com o ciclo da violência doméstica, um deles está relacionado ao exercício do direito à moradia adequada. O caso de Ananindeua revelou que as políticas habitacionais desenvolvidas no município têm apresentado limites no enfrentamento da violência doméstica contra a mulher, incluindo políticas habitacional, inclusive por ausência de infraestrutura local. Conclui-se que as políticas habitacionais são essenciais para a garantia dos direitos da mulher em situação de violência doméstica.

This article aims to analyze the relationship between the exercise of the right to housing and domestic violence against women in the municipality of Ananindeua (PA), thus seeking to understand one of the dimensions of the dynamics of gender inequality. The aim is to answer the following question: to what extent can public housing policies interfere in tackling domestic violence in Ananindeua (PA)? The methodology follows the inductive method as an analysis procedure. The research is bibliographic and documentary in relation to the collection of theoretical-conceptual materials, presenting a qualitative approach, with an analytical-descriptive character as a strategy. As for the results, it was found that, among the challenges faced by women who decide to break the cycle of domestic violence, one of them is related to the exercise of the right to adequate housing. The case of Ananindeua revealed that the housing policies developed in the municipality have shown limits in addressing domestic violence against women, including housing policies, including the lack of local infrastructure. It is concluded that housing policies are essential to guarantee the rights of women in situations of domestic violence.
