This article studies the Towage Contract from the Chilean Maritime Law, complemented with some comparative and dissociative elements of the English Maritime Law. It begins with an analysis of its general aspects, and continues by determining its concept, characteristics, requirements for its conclusion, types of towage, and the obligations of the contracting parties that emerge due to this agreement of wills, ending with a development of the various contractual stages or contractualiter of this legal institute.
