O artigo se debruça sobre o conceito de república em Kant. A república é o máximo da perfeição, e é o governo cuja constituição realiza a máxima liberdade humana. Para chegar ao conceito de republica kantiano, é necessário compreender a concepção kantiana do direito. Conclui-se que a ideia de república é um projeto estabelecido pela razão que visa guiar a realidade para o caminho estabelecido, sendo o único governo capaz de realizar a liberdade.
The article focuses on the concept of republic in Kant. The republic is the ultimate in perfection, and it is the government whose constitution achieves maximum human freedom. To arrive at the concept of Kantian republic, it is necessary to understand the Kantian conception of law. We conclude that the idea of republic is a project established by reason that aims to guide reality towards the established path, being the only government capable of achieving freedom.
