Este relato traz como temática central a interface Libras e artes no contexto da extensão universi-tária. Tratamos aqui a respeito do programa de extensão “Sinaliza UDESC: Arte e Formação” vin-culado à Universidade do Estado de Santa Catari-na (UDESC). Realizado em 2018/2019, o programa foi composto por quatro ações voltadas à forma-ção artística e linguística. Descrevemos neste ar-tigo três ações que promoveram o diálogo entre diferentes linguagens artísticas e a Libras. Nosso objetivo é apresentar parte dos resultados gera-dos pelo programa e trazer algumas considerações sobre as ações dialogando com referências teóricas. Dentre os principais resultados obtidos, destacamos: a formação artística e humana dos envolvidos no programa; a difusão e a valorização da Libras e seus falantes; o reconhecimento e a projeção dos Surdos nas artes; o atravessamento da extensão na pesquisa e no ensino; e a formação docente complementar de acadêmicos da UDESC estudantes da disciplina de Libras.
This text has as the main theme the interface Brazilian Sign Language (Libras) and Art in the context of univer-sity extension. In this paper, we discuss the extension pro-gram “Sinaliza UDESC: Arte e Formação”, linked at the State University of Santa Catarina. Developed in 2018/2019, the program consisted of four actions aimed at artistic and linguistic formation. We des-cribe three actions that pro-moted the dialogue between artistic languages and Libras. We aim to present part of the results of the program by rai-sing some notes on the action and dialoguing with theore-tical references. Among the main results, we highlight: the artistic and human forma-tion of those involved in the program; the diffusion and appreciation of Libras and its speakers; the recognition and projection of the Deaf in the Arts; the crossing of extension in research and teaching; and the complementary teacher education of UDESC academic students of the subject Libras.
