Este artigo intenta expor um panorama amplo e outro específico. O primeiro dirá respeito à teoria geral da relação jurídica, um pouco de suas origens e seus elementos. O segundo será a interface entre teoria geral e Direito Tributário, aplicando-se as categorias jurídicas com maior abstração ao segmento tributarista, daí evidenciando a relação jurídica tributária.

This article intends to expose a broad panorama and a specific one. The first will concern the general theory of the legal relationship, a little of its origins and elements. The second will be the interface between general theory and Tax Law, applying the legal categories with greatest abstraction to the tax legal relationship.
