Neste trabalho, abordo o processo criativo do meu monologo Joana in Mary Stuart (2010), uma transposicao da dramaturgia de Denise Stoklos no livro Denise Stoklos in Mary Stuart (1995), utilizando tambem outras fontes, segundo procedimentos do teatro pos-dramatico. Contextualizo Mary Stuart e Elizabeth I na historia da Inglaterra, comparando as versões biograficas de Mary Stuart com as personagens do filme Elisabeth I – A Era do Ouro (2007), de Shekhar Kapur. Considero, entao, o processo criativo da performance interativa Joana in Mary Stuart (2010).
This paper addresses the creative process of the monologue, Joana in Mary, which is actually an update of the text of Denise Stoklos play, Denise Stoklos in Mary Stuart, as well as from additional sources, according to the procedures of the postdramatic theater. I appraised Mary Stuart and Elizabeth I in the context of British History and then compared the biographical versions with the characters in Shekhar Kapur film, “Elisabeth I - The Golden Age (2007). I then considered the creative process of Ms.Stoklos interactive performance Joanna in Mary Stuart (2010).
