O presente artigo visa discorrer sobre a educação para a diversidade no contexto do Novo Constitucionalismo Latino-americano, por meio de abordagem jurídico-sociológica. A interculturalidade é uma característica marcante nesse novo conceito de constitucionalismo e a educação é um instrumento importante para se chegar ao almejado Buen Vivir. O Novo Constitucionalismo Latino-americano será objeto de investigação a partir de suas influências, ciclos e características, assim como aspectos das constituições da Bolívia e Equador, relativamente ao direito à educação. Além disso, será apresentado um exemplo de norma infraconstitucional brasileira que segue o conceito de educação para a diversidade.
This article aims to discuss education for diversity in the context of New Latin American Constitutionalism, from a juridical-sociological perspective. Interculturality is a striking feature of this new concept of constitutionalism and education is an important tool for reaching the desired Buen Vivir. The New Latin American Constitutionalism will be presented based on its influences, cycles and characteristics, as well as aspects of the constitutions of Bolivia and Ecuador concerned to the right to education. Also, an example of a Brazilian law that follows the concept of education for diversity will be presented.
