O presente trabalho analisa a incidência da cibercultura nos processos comunicativos da sociedade, especificamente abordando o uso da rede mundial de computadores por movimentos sociais na busca por efetivação de direitos. Para tal finalidade, será explanado, ao longo da dissertação, a relação dos estudos do filósofo Pierre Lévy com a realidade fática, demonstrada pela ocupação ocorrida na UEMG – campus Diamantina em 2017. O objetivo central do trabalho, que possui como metodologia principal a realização de pesquisa de campo (pela coleta de depoimentos), é averiguar no caso em questão se a rede efetuou um papel determinante na ocupação (buscando saber quais esses papeis em caso de uma resposta positiva) e se houve alguma dificuldade trazida pelo próprio uso da rede.
This paper analyzes the incidence of cyberculture in the communicative processes of society, specifically addressing the use of the worldwide computer network by social movements in the search for the realization of rights. For this purpose, the dissertation will explain the relationship between the studies of philosopher Pierre Lévy and the factual reality, demonstrated by the occupation that took place at UEMG -Diamantina campus in 2017. The main objective of this work, which has as its main methodology the realization field research (through the collection of statements), is to ascertain in this case if the network played a determining role in the occupation (seeking to know what these roles in case of a positive response) and if there was any difficulty also brought by the use of the network
