Este artigo tem por objetivo investigar a atuação das instituições de ensino, que por meio de projetos extensivos, simbolizam instrumentos de boas práticas para uma educação inclusiva e sociolinguística, alicerçado nos direitos humanos e fundamentais e, que acolhe e integra grupos migratórios como no Programa UEMS Acolhe da Universidade Estadual do Mato Grosso do Sul-UEMS. Para tanto, empregou-se uma investigação hipotético-dedutivo, com metodologias descritiva e exploratória, aplicadas através do método bibliográfico e documental, para comprovar e observar o direito do acesso à educação, acolhimento e integração de migrantes e refugiados no Estado de Mato Grosso do Sul. Por fim, concluiu-se que no atual contexto dos movimentos migratórios, pandêmico e de exclusão social, o papel das universidades dentro do estado tornam-se cada vez mais essenciais para reinserção dessas pessoas, face às comunidades acolhedoras por meio do ensino da língua portuguesa.

This paper has the aims to investigate the performance of educational institutions, which through extensive projects, symbolize good practices instruments for an inclusive and sociolinguistic education, based on human and fundamental rights and, which welcomes and integrates migratory groups as in the UEMS Welcomes Program of the State University of Mato Grosso do Sul-UEMS. For that, a hypothetical-deductive investigation was used, with descriptive and exploratory methodologies, applied through the bibliographic and documental method, to prove and observe the right of access to education, reception and integration of migrants and refugees in the State of Mato Grosso do Sul. Finally, it was concluded that in the current context of movements migratory, pandemic and social exclusion, the role of universities within the state becomes increasingly essential for the reintegration of these people, in the face of welcoming communities through the teaching of the Portuguese language.
