O USO DO FACEBOOK COMO AMBIENTE VIRTUAL DE APRENDIZAGEM PARA O ENSINO DOS NÚMEROS RACIONAIS

Este artigo apresenta uma análise a partir da investigação desenvolvida em uma escola da rede pública do município de Canguçu. Assim, o objetivo é apresentar e discutir o Facebook, através de um grupo fechado, como um ambiente virtual de aprendizagem (AVA), para potencializar o ensino dos números racionais. Para tal, desenvolveu-se uma pesquisa-ação, com uma turma de sétimo ano, onde o grupo nesta Rede Social, denominado F@ceMAT, foi utilizado como uma AVA, servindo como repositório de material, mas também para a realização de avaliação diagnóstica, portfólio, construção e revisão de conceitos, por meio de atividades/propostas diversificadas, entre elas destacam-se: situações-problema, vídeos, textos e desafios, privilegiando, sempre, a interação entre os pares. Concluiu-se que o grupo fechado atendeu as exigências de um AVA alternativo, exigindo, como em todo ambiente, que o professor proponha tarefas, medeie e estimule a participação dos alunos, proporcionando, assim, a condição de o aluno ser o centro do processo de aprendizagem.

This paper presents an analysis from the developed research for the Dissertation of Master on the use of Facebook in the Mathematics Learning, more specifically in the area the Rational Numbers in a public school in the Canguçu’s city. Thus, the objective this article is to introduce and to discuss the Facebook, through a closed group, as a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE - AVA in Portuguese), to powered the teaching of Rational Numbers. For this, an action-research was developed with a seventh grade of elementary school, where it was created the group in this Social Network, named F@ceMAT. The F@ceMAT was used as an VLE, serving as a repository of material, but also to achievement diagnostic evaluation, portfolio, construction and revision of concepts, by means of diversified proposals/activities, among them: problem-situations, videos, texts and challenges, it is always privileging the interaction between the pairs. It was concluded that the closed group met the requirements of an alternative VLE (AVA), requiring, as in all environment, that the teacher proposes tasks, as well as the teacher measures and stimulates the participation of the students, providing, thus, the student’s condition to be the center of the learning process
