O texto apresenta e discute as principais contribuições do livro “A hipótese-cinema†para a prática educativa dos professores que desejam trabalhar com cinema na escola, e faz também uma reflexão sobre a relevância do pensamento de Alain Bergala para os professores brasileiros, considerando os grandes desafios que se colocam no processo de construção de propostas no âmbito escolar para a formação de espectadores mais exigentes em suas práticas culturais relativas ao cinema.
The text presents and discusses the main contributions of the book "The hypothesis-cinema" for the educational practice of the teachers who wish to work with cinema in school and is also a reflection about the relevance of the thought of Alain Bergala for teachers Brazilians, whereas the major challenges in the process of construction of proposals in schools for the training of turnout more demanding in their cultural practices relating to the cinema.
