O tema desta dissertação se insere na linha de pesquisa Léxico e Terminologia, desenvolvida no Centro de Estudos Lexicais e Terminológicos (Centro Lexterm) e no Laboratório de Língua de Sinais Brasileira (LabLibras) da Universidade de Brasília. O objeto de estudo é constituído pelos termos matemáticos relacionados ao campo conceitual equações, tendo como público alvo os alunos Surdos, bem como os professores e intérpretes educacionais atuantes na Educação Básica. O objetivo é criar glossário terminológico bilíngue Libras-Português de termos matemáticos deste campo conceitual. Para tanto, registramos os termos e sinais-termo seguindo o modelo de ficha terminográfica de Faulstich (2010), para a Língua Portuguesa – LP, e o modelo de ficha terminográfica em Libras de Tuxi (2017). O método empregado na pesquisa foi o analítico-descritivo. Como procedimentos metodológicos, adotamos os seguintes percursos: i) coleta dos termos e das definições em LP; ii) reformulação das definições em LP; iii) preenchimento das fichas terminográficas em LP; iv) coleta dos sinais-termo em Libras; v) criação dos sinais-termo; vi) validação dos sinais-termo; vii) preenchimento das fichas de análise de sinal-termo; viii) criação das definições em Libras e ix) preenchimento das fichas terminográficas em Libras. Para o preenchimento das fichas de análise de sinal-termo e das fichas terminográficas em Libras utilizamos QR Code (TUXI, 2017) para disponibilizar a visualização dos sinaistermo, definições, variantes, equivalentes e remissivas por meio de vídeos. Realizamos, ainda, a análise de sete obras terminológicas da matemática com base no roteiro para avaliação de dicionários e glossários científicos e técnicos de Faulstich (2011). Dentre as obras avaliadas, as línguas contempladas foram português, inglês, Libras, ASL, BSL e LSF. Além disso, analisamos as definições matemáticas contidas nos livros didáticos aprovados pelo PNLD utilizados do 6° Ano do Ensino Fundamental ao Ensino Médio. Essa análise revelou a necessidade de reformulação das definições em língua portuguesa. Como resultado dessa pesquisa, apresentamos o glossário bilíngue Libras – Português da matemática, o qual se baseou na proposta de organização de glossário bilíngue de Tuxi (2017). No glossário bilíngue Libras – Português de matemática são apresentados os 30 verbetes no formato bilíngue Libras – Português de 30 termos e sinais-termo do campo conceitual equação. Ainda, apresentamos a proposta de registro de sinais-termo equivalentes em outras línguas de sinais, além da possibilidade de direcionamento a remissivas, tanto em LP quanto em Libras, por meio de hiperlinks. A contribuição da pesquisa é disponibilizar obra de consulta, direcionada aos alunos Surdos, professores e intérpretes educacionais. Além disso, o modelo de glossário apresentado pode servir para ser aplicado em outros campos conceituais ou a outros domínios do saber.
The subject of this work is inserted in the line of research Lexicon and Terminology, developed at the Center for Lexical and Terminological Studies (Centro Lexterm) and at the Laboratory of Brazilian Sign Language (LabLibras) of the University of Brasília. The object of study is constituted by the mathematical terms related to the conceptual field equations, having as target audience the Deaf students as well as the teachers and educational interpreters acting in Basic Education. The objective is to create bilingual Libras - Portuguese terminological glossary of mathematical terms from this conceptual field. For this purpose, we recorded the terms and term-signs following the Faulstich terminology sheet (2010), for the Portuguese Language, and the Tuxi terminology sheet (2017) for Libras. The method used in the research was analytic descriptive. As methodological procedures, we adopted the following pathways: i) collection of terms and definitions in Portuguese; ii) reformulation of definitions in Portuguese; iii) completion of the terminographic sheets in Portuguese; iv) collection of term-signs in Libras; v) creation of term-signs; vi) validation of the term-signs; vii) completion of the term-sign analysis sheets; viii) creation of definitions in Libras and ix) completion of the terminographic sheets in Libras. In order to complete the termsign analysis sheets and terminographic sheets in Libras we use QR Code (TUXI, 2017) to make the visualization of term-signs, definitions, variants, equivalents and references via videos. We also carried out the analysis of seven terminological works of mathematics based on the script for the evaluation of scientific and technical dictionaries and glossaries of Faulstich (2011). Among the works evaluated, the languages included were Portuguese, English, Libras, ASL, BSL, and LSF. Besides, we analyze the mathematical definitions contained in the textbooks approved by PNLD used from the 6th Year of Elementary School to High School. This analysis revealed the need to reformulate the definitions in Portuguese. As a result of this research, we present the mathematical bilingual glossary Libras - Portuguese, which was based on the proposed bilingual glossary of Tuxi (2017). In the bilingual glossary Libras - Portuguese of mathematics, the 30 entries in the bilingual format Libras - Portuguese of 30 terms and term-signs of the conceptual field equation are presented. Still, we present the proposal to register equivalent term-signs in other sign languages, as well as the possibility of referring to remittances, both in Portuguese and in Libras, through hyperlinks. The contribution of the research is to make available a reference work, aimed at the deaf students, teachers and educational interpreters. Besides, the presented glossary model can be applied in other conceptual fields or to other domains of knowledge.
