O referido artigo trata de um trabalho fonoaudiológico voltado à escrita de um boletim informativo elaborado, na íntegra, por um grupo de adolescentes surdos atendidos pelo Cepre -Centro de Estudos e Pesquisas em Reabilitação "Prof Dr. Gabriel Oliveira da Silva Porto"/ Faculdade de Ciências Médicas/ Unicamp. O objetivo da confecção deste boletim foi proporcionar aos adolescentes surdos um contato com a língua portuguesa em sua modalidade escrita, num contexto social significativo. Durante todo o processo, os adolescentes trabalharam em grupo escolhendo os temas, coletando opiniões, realizando pesquisas e organizando o material final por meio das suas próprias produções escritas. Os textos foram revisados pelas fonoaudiólogas e pelos alunos, procurando preservar as particularidades da produção gráfica de cada "redator". Durante todos os pro-cedimentos procuramos salientar a importância da língua de sinais e da leitura orofacial no processo comunicativo. A criação do boletim "Correio do Cepre" proporcionou um aumento da motivação com relação à linguagem escrita, ampliação de vocabulário e novos conceitos, bem como melhoria e motivação no processo comunicativo com os ouvintes.
The article is related to a speech therapy work towards an elaboration of a written bulletin, dane by a group of deaf teen-agers, enrolled at CEPRE/Center of Studies and Research in Rehabilitation "Prof Dr. Gabriel Oliveira da Silva Porto"/ Medical Faculty / Unicamp. The main purpose of the bulletin was to offer deaf teen-agers a contact with the Portuguese language, in its written form, in a meaningful social context. During all the process, the teen-agers worked in small groups, choosing the subjects, collecting different opinions, doing research and organizing the final article with their own written productions. The reports were revised by the speech therapeutics and by the students, preserving the written particularities of each teenager. During all the procedures, there was emphasized the importance of both sign language and speech reading, in the process of communication. The elaboration of the "CEPRE Bulletin" offered an increase in motivation in relation to writing; new vocabulary ànd concepts and more motivation for the communicative process with hearing persons.
