Em 1998, iniciou-se no Colégio de Aplicação do Instituto Nacional de Educação de Surdos - CAP/INES, um projeto piloto com alunos do Ensino Fundamental (1ª a 8ª série), estendendo-se hoje ao Ensino Médio. Esse projeto objetiva fornecer ao professor instrumentos pedagógicos na informática, para atividades que visam a interpretação e a construção de textos de aprendizes surdos. Mostra a eles a interferência da Língua Brasileira de Sinais (LIBRAS) na compreensão e construção desses textos e ressalta a importância dos recursos da informática numa área em que os elementos visuais são fundamentais para minimizar e muitas vezes superar as necessidades educativas especiais do surdo.
ln 1998, it was initiated in the College of Application of the National lnstitute of Education of Deaf People - CAP/INES, a design pilot with pupils of Basic Ensino (1st to 8th series), extending itself today to Average Ensino. Objectifying to supply to the professor pedagogical instruments, of computer science, activities that aim at the organization of the thought and the enrichment of the language, in the interpretation and construction of text. It shows to the interferençe ofthe Brazilian Sign Languages (LIBRAS) in t he understanding and construction of texts in the Portuguese Language. The importance of the features of computer science in an area standes out where the visual elements are basic to minimize and many times to surpass the educative necessities special of the deaf person.
