This is the translation of the review of Bruno Tadeu Buonicore's thesis, presented to obtain his Doctor's Degree at the University of Frankfurt/Germany, written by Professor of Criminal Law Günther Jakobs. The thesis which is the object of this review is about the concept of culpability in the Social and Democratic State of Law.
