O artigo aborda o trabalho na produção do espaço urbano por meio da compreensão das relações na construção civil no Rio de Janeiro. Estrutura-se em três momentos que trazem o debate da construção e colapso da sociedade do trabalho, tendo como referência o conceito de condição análoga à de escravo no Brasil. Desta forma, apresenta a discussão teórica a respeito dos limites da forma trabalho e da própria conceituação de escravidão hoje, a partir da análise dos relatórios de fiscalização do trabalho escravo na construção civil, de 2013 a 2015, da Superintendência Regional do Trabalho e Emprego no Rio de Janeiro (SRTE/RJ), do Ministério de Trabalho. Números que dão visibilidade à participação dos seres humanos nos escombros do mundo do trabalho.
The article approaches the work in the building of urban space through the understanding of relations in the civil construction in Rio de Janeiro. It is structured in three segments that bring the debate to the collapseof working societywork, having as reference the concept of a condition analogous to that of a slave in Brazil. Therefore, it presents the theoretical discussion about the limits of ways of work and of the very conceptualization of slavery today, from the analysis of reports of supervision of slave labor in the construction industry, from 2013 to 2015, by the Regional Department of Work and Employment in Rio de Janeiro (SRTE / RJ), part of Ministry of Labor.
