A fim de atender à necessidade de constante formação para a vida e para o mundo do trabalho, o Distrito Federal tem a educação profissional como uma de suas políticas públicas. Este artigo de revisão tem como objetivo principal descrever a evolução da gestão da política de educação profissional em Ceilândia, uma Região Administrativa do Distrito Federal, focalizando especificamente na trajetória do Centro de Educação Profissional – Escola Técnica de Ceilândia (CEP-ETC). A metodologia empregada para atingir o objetivo proposto foi a pesquisa bibliográfica e documental sobre a instituição de ensino e a região administrativa estudadas. A realização deste artigo contribuiu significativamente para a construção de um memorial reflexivo sobre a política pública de educação profissional que vem sendo desenvolvida na região supracitada, pois resultou na conjunção de um referencial teórico e documental a respeito da gênese e evolução da política pública investigada, dando subsídios para a compreensão e aprofundamento do objeto em questão.
Aiming to fulfill the need for constant learning in life and in the workplace, the FederalDistrict has Professional Education as one of its public policies. This review article’smain purpose is to describe the evolution of the management of professionaleducation policies in Ceilandia, an Administrative Region in the Federal District ofBrazil. It focuses specifically on the trajectory of the Professional EducationCenter and Technical Course of Ceilandia(CEP –ETC).The methodology which was applied toachieve the proposed objective was bibliographical and documental research aboutthe institution and the administrative region in focus. The existence of this article hassignificantly contributed to the construction of a reflective memorial of public policiesin professional education, that have been gaining momentum in the above mentionedregion, for this work has gathered theoretical and documental references concerningthe genesis and evolution of said policies, providing means for the comprehension andfurther development of the object in question.
