O objetivo desse artigo é discutir a situação atual da produção de dados sobre o sistema socioeducativo brasileiro e sua importância para a promoção dos direitos dos adolescentes sob intervenção socioeducativa. Ainda que haja previsão legal sobre a produção e divulgação dessas informações, destacamos a precariedade e a falta de transparência dos dados e as consequências da falta de informações para o funcionamento dos sistemas socioeducativos.
The objective of this article is to discuss the situation of the data production about the Brazilian socio-educational system and its importance for promoting the rights of adolescents under socio-educational intervention. Despite the legal provision of production and dissemination of this information, we highlight the precarity and lack of transparency of the data and the consequences of this situation for the functioning of the socio-educational systems.
